RENTAL / TOURING / LIVE EVENTS

Stage lighting for rental companies and event production

A useful rental fixture must fit the show, the transport system and the turnaround between jobs. Compare control, protection, rigging and service requirements alongside the optical specification.

Build the fleet around repeatable jobs

Start with the work your customers request most often: concert effects, outdoor stages, corporate events, venue uplighting or temporary scenic accents. A focused set of fixtures, cases and control options is easier to prep and support than a collection of unrelated products.

Define each fixture roleBeam, wash, strobe, pixel effect and ambient uplighting solve different production needs.

Standardise controlConfirm DMX modes, RDM, network protocols and wireless receivers before adding units to an existing fleet.

Plan the turnaroundCase layout, charging, inspection and labelling affect how quickly equipment can return to service.

Match the environmentReview IP rating, mounting, connectors and operating guidance for the conditions of each job.

Prepare a quotation that can be answered accurately

State the destination country and required quantity, then describe the application and project date. Add the control system, expected outdoor use, mounting or rigging requirements and preferred packing. For battery fixtures, include runtime, wireless DMX and charging requirements.

For product comparisonAsk for the published specification that matters to the job. Avoid relying on a single headline number without the operating conditions behind it.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Rental and event-lighting FAQ

What information is needed for a quotation?

Include your company and destination country, application, fixture type or product, quantity, control requirements, outdoor use, packing requirements and project date.

How should we compare battery lighting?

Compare runtime at the intended output, charging workflow, wireless DMX compatibility, flight-case capacity, optics, IP rating and the DMX modes required by the show.

Does IP65 remove the need for an outdoor operating plan?

No. The rating is one part of the plan. Follow the product instructions for connectors, charging, mounting and the actual environmental conditions.
